Information

Catering
The teams are responsible for their own catering services. Some snacks (water, cereal bars, fruits, etc.) will be offered for free by Rio 2016.

Radio registration
According to Brazilian regulations, all teams that are bringing their own radios must request radio frequency clearance in order to use these radios at the venue. As the South American Championship is a test event for the Olympic Games, special conditions apply and teams should request the clearance through Rio 2016.
To apply for your frequency clearance, send an email to spectrum@rio2016.com.

Team doctor registration
An application for temporary registration with the Federal Medicine Council will no longer be necessary for the doctors of teams who intend to participate in the test event and offer treatment to the members of their delegations.
Doctors who are accompanying their teams may only assist their athletes, using their own equipment and medications.
