The African Weightlifting Family was shocked to hear the sad news of the death of Housseyn \u200e\u200eFardjallah Algerian male weightlifter at age 23, competing in \u200ethe 77 kg category and representing \u200e\u200eAlgeria at \u200einternational competitions, died so suddenly in a traffic \u200ecollision.\u200e
\nAlthough the African Weightlifting Family admired his talent in our lovely sport, his kindness with \u200e\u200eeveryone, all African Weightlifting Family present its condolence to his family, friends and to the \u200eAlgerian weightlifting federation for this lost.\u200e
\nMay his Soul rest in peace, and we pray for God to give his Family as well as the Algerian weightlifting \u200efamily the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.\u200e<\/p>\n

Housseyn Fardjallah (16 January 1993 \u2013 20 November \u200e\u200e2016) was an Algerian male weightlifter, competing in \u200ethe 77 kg category and representing Algeria at \u200einternational competitions.\u200e
\nAs a junior he competed at the 2010 Summer Youth \u200eOlympics in the boys’ 69 kg event. \u200e
\nHe participated at the 2013 Mediterranean Games in the \u200e\u200e77 kg event. \u200e
\nHe won the bronze medal at the 2015 African Games.\u200e
\nHe won the silver medal at the 2016 African \u200eWeightlifting Championships after finishing first in the \u200esnatch (150 kg) and second in the clean & jerk \u200e\u200e(185 kg).\u200e
\nFardjallah died on 20 November 2016 in a traffic \u200ecollision at age 23.\u200e<\/strong>
