At a Ceremony awarding sport federations and personalities for the year 2016, the Egyptian Weightlifting Federation won the title of Best Federation! The President Mahmoud Kamal Mahgoub was handed over the recognition.
The Best Sportsmen title was awarded to Rio 2016 Bronze Medal winner MAHMOUD Mohamed Ihab Youssef Ahmed (EGY).
